BRIEF HISTORY

Mahendra Bhawan was established in the year 2014 (1957),  It is a residential school situated near the "Sanogauchar" in Gyaneshwore, Kathmandu.   The purpose of this school is to provide girls the best care and attention in the early years of life and bring them rooted in the field of modern technology.   Our aim is to enable the young girls to lead a systematic and disciplined life and to awaken in them a spiritual awareness and respect for our national culture.

Mahendra Bhawan started the 10+2 programme (School of Science and Commerce) from July 1994 to meet it's aims and objectives of providing higher education to girls.   This programme is conducted by Higher Secondary Education Board / HMG.   Thus, Mahendra Bhawan Girl's Higher Secondary Boarding School with its motto 'PURE HEART" is committed to provide quality education to the girl student with the ultimate aim of moulding them into self-reliant, sincere, well educated and disciplined citizens of the future.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Well qualified and competent staff, would help the students to pursue their studies at the school. 

The school has sophisticated Science Laboratories and well furnished Library.   The Library is specially designed to encourage serious reading habits in students.  Besides, the large collection of books also provides reference help to them for making their studeies even more effective.

Residential and Medical Facilities are also provided in the school.   Limited seats are allotted for class XI and XII.  

For the Extra Curricular Activities the school has provided pupils with sufficient opportunities to develope their innate talents.  Arrangements are made for out-door, in-door picnics and excursions.   In addition to this, the students are allowed to play Volley-ball, Badminton, basket-ball, Martial arts, Music as well as study based field trips.
